Devoured this one in a day, 380 pages(?!) (turns out reading is fun if you're interested in it, so much assigned school reading killed my brain. Woulda taken a month if it were for school lol) Chapter 13 was just a Rude Tales of Magic bar fight, just wonderful

Reading for fun is good times for sure! I read a bunch as a teen but stopped as a young adult because of games, anime, manga, etc... I picked up reading in late 2018 again with the rise of the US light novel market and now I'm less than 10 books away from hitting 1000 books read since then

Mom was a school librarian & I read books my entire childhood -- anything I wanted, she encouraged love of the written word. 11th grade, my effeminate hetero English teacher forced Jude the Obscure (1894) on me & I learned to hate, truly hate, literature. PS, thanks for suggesting TADC. It's nice.

Btw I didn't detect this was Dramione stuff until the Acknowledgments page, which I think show my excellent taste in fandoms I've hitched my childhood to far more than my slowness on the uptake (also that it's written better and has a more interesting world than JK Rowling's bs. everyone's bi👍)

Assigned Reading in school would probably be improved if schools had the money to buy 30 copies of some newer books. Maybe one's that teens would like/relate to idk. The Great Gatsby is better at 25 than 14, The Old Man at the Sea more relatable at 50 (I'm guessing)

Hey VoidBurger A child shouldn't have to dream about safety, food, or a peaceful night. Yet many do. Please visit my page and read the pinned post if you have a moment. Your compassion truly matters. ❤️
