It takes time to get all the right smells and amount of dog drool into those toys. And in one afternoon you destroyed it all! His anger is righteous. I would sleep with one eye open and check your shoes before you put them on for the foreseeable future.

I leave the house briefly every Tuesday and Thursday morning. My dog hates to be left home alone. She has pulled the same trash out of the same trash can for the past 3 days I've been gone. It's only a few items, and there's no food in it, so I can only assume she does it to punish me.
Washing a poop toy seems futile.

My Oliver has a favorite stuffed lobster toy but if he can't find it, I live a nightmare. Somehow, he tossed it on to a bookcase and I looked everywhere as I didn't expect that. Finally found it, he took it to his pen and side-eyed me as if I stole it. He now sleeps with it under his body.
