[ FAVORITE MOVIE OF 2024] Whiplash (2014) letterboxd.com/zeroesandone... Good movie where it seems like J.K. Simmons is trying to see how many blood vessels he can pop in each scene. Very memorable, especially if you've ever been the perfectionist newbie in a collective of some kind.

[ FAVORITE TV SERIES OF 2024] Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - 2ND GIG (2002) www.serializd.com/review/23105... Having seen only the movie, I understood why people like Ghost in the Shell. But the Stand Alone Complex series, 2nd Gig in particular, made me understand why people love it.
