A 47-year-old man was referred with suspected giant cell arteritis because of progressive bilateral swelling along the superficial temporal arteries. Over several weeks, firm, indolent, non-tender elastic masses developed first on the right and subsequently on the contralateral side (A)

O, the alchemy of clinic scheduling. Most people keep their appointments & arrive on time(or close). THEN there are the hardcore no show-ers, those who fill up slots with appts made, changed, redone on the fly & cancelled even minutes before they are due. Those folks keep us-busy #graphicmedicine
