I have tried to outgrown food prescriptivism, but those choices sound infuriating. Like, a burger is a fucking burger. If you put a fucking taco on a list of the best hot dogs in town, no matter how good it is, I鈥檓 going to question why you鈥檙e choosing ragebait violence.

Yesterday I needed a really quick lunch so I put some tinned herring in a Martin's potato roll with Dijon mustard and Puerto Rican hot sauce and the New York Times called to say I'd made one of the best hot dogs in the city
