Flash forward 20 years. I'm on the radio with a Marine describing the symptoms of someone who ruptured his appendix while in the jungles in the Philippines. I asked him to describe the discharge that was coming out of the sick guy, and I got the reply "It looks like the tar that killed Tasha Yar."
