For me it comes in waves. Like every 6 months I get spam called for pretty much 2 whole weeks at a time. But I have to say samsungs spam detection works really good, I can just ignore the calls and wait until they give up xD

My Pixel has a bot that screens them for me. My phone never even rings. It's beautiful.

Or maybe look for this setting I have disabled. This should be the process: Open the Phone app. Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner and tap Settings. Tp Caller ID & Spam in the Assistive section. Toggle on Filter spam calls

There is an option to block all incoming calls from unknown numbers in your calls app settings. Maybe it'd be useful if you communicate with others through online means mostly

Yes. If you put your phone number into PayPal, Amazon, etc, they send that shit out. That’s how it gets out there.

Unrelated: nice

This isn't normal for everyone? I've had my phone on Do-Not-Disturb mode, with selected contacts able to bypass the silent setting, for 2-3 years at this point. Sometimes it fades for a month or so, then fires back up 🙄 I also get voicemails that sound like a fake people in silent call centers...

i get a call thinking someone wants to talk to me but nah its just mfs wanting to scam me. i almost miss not having a sim card some times but then i realise how i would have no data.

Yeah I’ve been getting a truck load of those lately Sorry to hear you’re dealing with these too

That Bastard Chap · Mar 27

Solution: Infiltrate the scam centres and fuck the scam caller's parents.

Cloud · Mar 27

That's rough, at this point you gotta get a new number, or something Idk. I heard other phones have better scam blocking like pixels but Idk.

SnoogaBean · Mar 27

I've only had one number. I don't even tap decline when scam calls came in. I let the calls ring out until it ends. I stopped getting scam calls.

Blitz · Mar 27

Scam Likely seems sus 🤔 but Suspected Spam? Yeah that's legit. 👍

QuickShotAnimation · Mar 28

No don't do that.
