Me (on LinkedIn): Not gonna name names but it is interesting to see a certain big developer who has typically prioritized good user interfaces switch to just doing command line interfaces for a new tool, and I have to assume it is because CLIs play nice with agentic AI. They're putting the bots first. Might also be why the same certain big developer is switching from a very popular visual scripting language back to a text-based one. If you catch my drift.

Engineers are often judged by their output. That criteria alone makes David a rockstar. His body of work speaks for itself--he's driven, experienced, passionate, and talented beyond belief. Setting aside the obvious, David is also a joy to work with. He's the quiet pragmatic voice whispering your ear: "Are you sure we should do that? There's a better way." He's a voice of reason, a problem solver, a sounding board, and so dedicated to the project and the team, you can't imagine how you'll live without him. It would be an honor to work with David again.
