I assume the ‘sensible’ argument is ‘precious minerals’. The tech bro one is probably ‘reduce overpopulation stress on Earth’. The sci-fi nerd in me is chanting ‘The Expanse’ over and over. But Kate is right that For All Mankind also fits (in terms of theme it’s almost an Expanse prequel now)
