People are…odd. A bird fan on IG told me that popularity for culling cats was growing & that mass culling was clearly the only solution to protect birds (in a convo abt how NYC should fund TNR). no word on if vets are meant to volunteer to euthanize cats en mass, funding, if that’s just ferals etc.

I do not take this position to this extreme, but I don’t think this guy is entirely wrong. My wife is super allergic, and my kids had traumatic dog experiences (because of irresponsible owners) when young. Dogs being anywhere near us is an unpleasant experience, even if “they’re friendly.”

Nothing is dogfree in Colorado. My neighbor's dog could show up at my door and I'd let him in. They're in stores with signs posted they're not allowed. I don't even have a dog but I buy the best dog treats. Beef only because my favorite neighbor dog is allergic to chicken.
