What does the MLB collective bargaining agreement say about who determines what uniform, in total will be worn during each and every game? I would think it is the individual team owners. The players signed a contract and it should have been explained to each player....they do what their told.
Among many stupid things about this Giants pride jersey controversy is that nobody actually is required to wear the pride jerseys. Hentges refused the pride hat and wore the orange and black Giants hat explicitly as a protest, and MLB didn't care. They just ban all writing on uniforms.
