Limerence It's been three days since you pressed me up against your car in the dark driveway. You pinned my arms over my head and I wanted more-more pressure, more contact, more skin. Now we're four states apart and I have nowhere to put my energy, no body to squish my flesh into, yet the memory still quickens my pulse and keeps me up at night. Half a week's sleep lost, and I would lose many more to keep these images on loop: Our socked feet rubbing under the table at the dinner party; your towel slipping and bunching under our grinding bodies on the pine needle slope; the kiss I stole in the dark between rooms while everyone else circled the kitchen counter; our accidentally matching button-downs; the single chanterelle we found in the woods.

Men like Henry Sugar are to be found drifting like seaweed all over the world. They can be seen especially in London, New York, Paris, Nassau, Montego Bay, Cannes and St Tropez.
