Fun fact, both the ankle and the knee joints are configured so they help pump blood out of your lower extremities, and the veins in your legs have one way valves. Just some of the weird shit I learnt after smashing my ankle.

True, though. Doc gave me a steroid shot in my foot and I bled all over the floor. Gave me a shot in my hip and therexwas just one tiny red dot. I think he may still be mopping my blood off the floor.
