I buy an annual pass. I feel there’s huge value in it as it supports our natural environments. I don’t get any benefit when others get to go for free. I love accessible spaces but the overwhelming numbers of people… iys trampling all the natural spaces.
Perhaps you should stop giving away the revenue you need to pay the park employees who are being asked do more and more with less and do so in sweltering heat or Biblical rain as you arrogantly called it. You're making their jobs harder and sending people there for free. It's a recipe for disaster.

Sadly a lot of them are blanketed in wildfire smoke today, a phenomenon becoming more and more common owing to countries like ours increasing emissions, as your current policies are planning to do.
