He’s such an amazing dog - left alone & scared but once he was found he’s seen a different side of humans. He’s been treated with kindness & respect and has a real sense of belonging & community now that he’s part of the retirement village. He knows he’s safe & loved now, & what’s better than that?❤️

Rocky is the proverbial phoenix rising from the ashes. It’s so wonderful to see him so full of life & energy now. He has regained his trust in and love for people, which must have been very difficult for him. But it was his only chance for survival. So happy that he made it & gets to live with you ❤️🔥

A really heartwarming story but what kind of monster neglects this poor vulnerable dog and leaves him to die?
All the bad in the world right now and then I see this...a couple with love in their heart to focus on rehabilitating a neglected and blind dog. They are the best of us and a reminder there is still good.

The blind and the old get skipped at every shelter, and they are usually the easiest dogs to live with. Rocky proves it. A full bowl, a safe corner, and a name does most of the healing.

Rescue is the way. We Rescue older Dogs and have turned around a few that were just like this and let me tell you. They’ve been at the bottom of the barrel and when given a Loving forever home they are so appreciative that they become the most loving caring dogs you’ll ever meet. Rescue!
