Now why would I give money when I’m not sure if you’re not morphing into state media? In case you haven’t noticed, the economy is shafting millions of Americans. We can pay you, or have eggs.
This is particularly important in rural & poor areas where they can’t afford cable. NPR is a radio station that is free all over the US! At times it can feel like taking a college course as it’s educational and helps develop critical thinking skills. We know current regime doesn’t want that!

It’s alarming to see so many comments attacking NPR, arguing the org platformed or enabled Trump. This only serves the rightward political current: stoking animosity towards yet another public institution. This is the moment to uplift NPR—a major source of sanity in this chaos—not tear them down.
There are no ‘both sides’ when one side is crazy. A real news organization would call that out.

Using the phrase “crackdown on illegal immigration” rather than “imprisonment/deportation without due process” to describe the current admin’s immigration policy convinced me that NPR is no longer interested in objective reporting.
Everyone who cares about a free and fair press needs to support NPR. Their work is exemplary and more important now than ever before. We can't let the fuhrer's assault on the press go unchecked.

I began listening to NPR in the 70s and never stopped until your election coverage started sounding so clueless in 2015. Sometimes a venerable organization isn't as nimble and savvy as it was when younger.
It is tragic that NPR didn't stand up vociferously against the corruption we're faced with. I understand adhering to tradition and custom, but these times required a braver response than y'all were able to muster up.
