Every single pre-T trans guy I've ever talked to has expressed worries about T making them angrier. What I always tell them is basically this (excerpted from the transition handbook I wrote):

i never had this worry pre-T but there was absolutely one day every two weeks for the first few months that i would have the thinnest rope, BUT: that's like, regular degular puberty, man. anyway, what every pre-t guy should be worried about is how much hornier it makes you. stay hydrated, boys.

I’ve been nervous about the idea of starting T eventually(if my health issues don’t keep me from being able to). I recently picked up your handbook and it was really helpful and made me feel a bit less anxious about it.

it has made me angrier, but only in the sense of the periodic rage triggered by each stupid new health insurance-related hoop I have to jump through to actually ACQUIRE it

before T, i had anger issues that i took out on myself. lots of bruises i had to explain away. so much frustration and vitriol towards myself. i feared T would heighten those feelings. since being on T, i haven't self-harmed once. i don't get angry like that anymore. im gentler than ive ever been

Since this is getting reposted by cis folks, I want to explain the consequences of spreading that fear. Most—not some, most—transmascs will wait years after realizing they need T to try it bc they fear losing themselves to an angrier personality. That’s years of unnecessary misery.

And it doesn't help that Trans Females tend to feel a lot less angry when they go on E and their T levels drop. So people like to associate that with low T, when really it's just being on the correct hormones.
