Years ago, I read about a Belgian shepherd, I think it was a Tervuren, that showed its owner certain symbols. One symbol meant “let’s go for a walk,” one meant “let’s play,” one meant “I’m tired,” and so on. I found that amazing.

I have Papillons and we do a lot of button training with them. My son has a Cavalier King Charles that interacts via an app on his phone and when he makes the right response, a treat pops out. I've often wondered why they never snatch the buttons up-I've never seen one do that yet!
