I look for goods on Native websites sometimes, haven't gone through with it bc I can't afford it. Items like shoes or jackets would be 300, not 80. The people who would be taken in by scams like this have not been looking where they actually sell goods bc otherwise they would go "80? 🧐"

The repeated price and storefront template are more useful than the images alone. Platforms can follow those shared patterns through payment accounts and fulfillment instead of asking buyers to spot every fake.
There’s a whole series of AI scams like this that focus on various communities including young people with Down’s Syndrome, LGBTQ people, and the elderly (usually presented by their adult son or daughter).
