I mentioned hearing the movie was good to my wife... She immediately said that she would have to read the book to the kids before watching it.
Hey Peter! Reading this trilogy to my family was one of my greatest joys of fatherhood. We all enjoyed them tremendously, each more than the last. The whole family saw the movie twice in theaters as well, how lucky you are to have received such a wonderful theatrical treatment of your amazing story.
Both of my kids (9 and 11) are obsessed with your book(s)! Daughter (learning disability) is in the middle of the first while Son is ploughing through the 2nd! He's on my butt to read them too so I'm going to start as soon as they're done!

I just recently finished this trilogy and it's going to go down as one of my favorites of all time! I can't decide which one I like best. I'm excited to watch the movie but more excited to see if the Wild Robot's story continues

My son loves the books. It was bought for him at in error because he loved your picture books but became his first chapter book and he loves it.
My eldest loves the Wild Robot. Read it several times, got it for Christmas, and champing at the bit for the audiobook to be ready on Libby.

i first read the wild robot as a read-aloud to my summer school class of third graders (right after it was released) and they were so anxious every day to remind me to read the next part! and the cliffhanger ending took us all by surprise LOL i can't imagine how proud you must feel. congrats! 🤖

At the very least people who loved the movie should immediately read the second book, The Wild Robot Escapes. It picks up pretty much where the first book (and the movie) ends. And as I've been saying all along, as great as the movie is, the books are even better. ❤️❤️❤️
My son read the first book in class. Then him, his sister, and I read it before bedtime. Once we finished the first we immediately moved to the next two. They were so excited when the movie came out even though they missed Chitchat.
My nephew recommended the first book to me and we’ve buddy read all three together. We loved the film but both agree that the book is so much better!

I love reading the books of movies, there's usually a lot of missed context and background in films due to time limitations that are wonderful to read in books. If the book and the movie differ? Cool, they're now in a multiverse and the film's universe is slightly altered from the original 😁

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm reading the book right now. I make it a point to always read the book first. Oftentimes, Movie Trailers are how I choose my next read. If a book is considered good to rate a movie, it's a pretty good recommendation.

The Wild Robot is one of the stories with the biggest heart I have ever seen, one of the most humane. In years. It sincerely celebrates the triumph of kindness and mutual understanding, and I feel like we really need that right now. I loved watching it and soon, I'd love to read it. Thank you.

Jokes on you. I've been aware of the books since I started working at a library. Apparently my library system has/had a signed copy of 'The Wild Robot' that I spotted once.

Started reading the book to my daughter when I was commissioned to interview Lupita and Chris about the movie. We just started "Protects" this weekend. She absolutely adores it - I think more than the movie, which she was thrilled to watch in the cinema but has refused to ever watch again.

We went to see it because of the books. My daughter read them when they first came out. My son who’s sometimes a reluctant reader decided to give the books a chance and read all three after seeing the movie.

My daughter and wife started reading the Wild Robot coincidentally before the movie came out and had just finished book 2. They had no idea there was a movie and I surprised them with tickets. We all loved the movie, but I was told how the book is so much better.
