Working dogs have had herding instincts for thousands of years. They will try to herd anything they see so you must train them what NOT to herd including human children.
The fastest person runs the anchor leg in a relay race so this makes sense!
That's a very mixed, but surprisingly quick flyball squad. I love every single one of them.

awesome! in these relay teams, there's always a very short dog b/c the height of the jumps is derived from the team's shortest member. looks like they hit the jackpot with theodora :-)

My corgi is stunningly fast and athletic; unfortunately, she's also easily distracted so I don't think she'd be able to do this.

With her short legs, she actually is traveling twice as far at twice the speed of her competition.
I love how that team used different breeds with different weights and sizes and showed how many breeds can benefit from this type of agility training.

Corgis can deceive you because they can be so lazy a lot of the time. But they love a task. This was my best friend, Reyna. She passed away in 2017, she was almost 14.

They can surprise you. My Mastiff/Great Pyrenees, Artemis, could get up to 30 mph (when young) if there was a threat to address. (I measured her once along the fence line by driving the truck along the other side of the fence.) She is now 11 and has a 2yo Colorado Mountain Dog apprentice, Hestia.
