I thought this was a release announcement, never heard of or seen this flavor in the wild.
i bought a bag last year for a birthday party and they were so good that a friend and i took them out of the room and ate them all ourselves all while looking at each other in disbelief. we felt no shame in this. we have discussed this moment at least once a month ever since

Absolute God Tier Chip. I haven't bought Doritos regularly since they took these off the market. I'd pick up a bag of spicy nacho or spicy sweet chili but it wasn't what I wanted. What I NEEDED. It's Fat Boy Summer, Frito-Lay! Give me that fucking chip!

interesting. i picked up some local habanero and mustard kettle crisps, which i enjoyed well enough, and doritos has superior flavour technology to anything in sweden so this would definitely have my attention

Let me guess: One tiny ingredient in the Hot Mustard version rose in price by 0.014% which would cost Frito-Lay an average of 0.02 cents per bag and completely destroy the company's profits. Such an attack on corporate profit would be an outrage!

doritos in canada are currently doing a baffling cross-promotion with formula 1 where there's a giant car on the front of the bag and it's not as obvious from a distance what the flavor is, i'll check the shelves, maybe they have hot mustard in dark green or something

These are very good. I am not surprised they might go because my favorite flavors of things routinely get discontinued. Most recently it was the sweet chili sunflower seeds. :(
We get these every few years...
They did this with my Habanero and Buffalo chips too. I'm not riding this ride no more until they start keeping their promises of a snackular nature.
